Fall / Winter 2023 • Free & Open to All
Welcome! Pioneer Valley Writers' Workshop hosts frequent author readings, events, and panels - free and open to the public. At this time, most of our readings and events are virtual and will be for the foreseeable future, with the occasional in-person event
(in Northampton MA).

To attend an event, please RSVP to the individual event, and you'll receive a confirmation email with the option to add the event to your calendar. You will also receive a reminder for all events you RSVP for as they approach; if the event is virtual, the reminder will include the Zoom link to the event as well. New events are scheduled on a rolling basis.

All events are FREE to attend and open to all!

Applications for our 10-Month Manuscript Program (with workshop sections in novel-writing, memoir, poetry/hybrid, and cnf) are currently OPEN! If you're interested but have some questions, we hope you join us for our annual virtual Manuscript Program Open House, featuring short readings from our instructors and current students, as well as an introduction to the program! The open house is an opportunity to meet the program instructors, current students, and ask any questions you have before (or after) applying!
Tuesday, November 28 (6 - 7 PM ET)
Novelist Kim Coleman Foote will read from her debut novel Coleman Hill, inspired by her family’s experience of the Great Migration from Alabama and Florida to Vauxhall, New Jersey, c. 1916–80s. Following the reading, PVWW Founder Joy Baglio will join her in conversation about the book, her process, and what the publishing journey has been like as a debut author. There will be lots of time for Q&A as well.
